Suggested Liquidators List: https://getaquid.com/suggested-liquidator-list/
Summary of the 'Provisional Liquidation of MTI ~ What now' Youtube video:
1) This is a South African Liquidation so the currency that will be used is ZAR (South African Rand);
2) Liquidation happens in FIAT (normal currency) and not in BTC;
3) Whichever Liquidator/s gets appointed has to act swiftly and in the best interest of the body of Creditors.
4) If you want to have a say in who the Liquidator/s will be, you have to complete one single Liquidator Nomination Form for the total initial investment in ZAR when you transferred it to MTI. It wasn't clearly stated as such, but I would imagine that you can add to that all the subsequent deposits which you have made as well in the same ZAR value when it was transacted to MTI. Overseas Members can also add the US Dollar Value next to the Rand value if you are not sure of your calculations.
5) You must physically sign a nomination form, as digital signatures or otherwise will not be accepted under South African Insolvency Law - make a plan. Also you can only submit one Nomination Form per claimant. If you send more than one, say one to one Liquidator and another completed form to another Liquidator, both nomination forms will be disqualified in court (you can still claim later on though).
6) Email your completed and signed Nomination Form to the supplied email address for that Liquidator (should be on the Form).
7) The forms need to reach the Liquidators via email BEFORE 15:00 Thursday 31 December 2020 South African time to be considered for the appointment for a specific Liquidator. BUT, if you do not send a Nomination Form in or its late, you will still have the opportunity to submit a claim later on, possibly up to 30 days from the provisional Liquidation Order - there will be some clarification on the time frame soon enough;
8) If you need to submit Nominations (or claims) for minor children, the parents or guardian can do the form, but will have to add a signed affidavit with your ID/Passport as well as any ID for the minor as well;
9) Nominations and claims can be done/submitted by both South African citizens as well as Members from other countries. However please write clearly in English if possible (clear black pen) and also make sure that whatever image or .pdf you send via email to your nominated Liquidator, that it is clear and legible for the recipient to read.
10) Although not needed for your Nomination Form, you will need to prove any claim further down in the Liquidation process and thus should urgently collect all evidence that you can to later substantiate your claim. This means any Crypto Exchange transactions where you sent BTC to MTI or received BTC from MTI and everything in your Back Office will play a very important role later.
However, no one knows how long the MTI server will still be up in order for Members to collect that 'evidence' in the Back Office so please do it as a matter of extreme urgency. But take screen dumps of everything, especially deposits, withdrawals and transfers, but everything if you can.
...
11) Liquidators (up to five, but normally around 3) may be appointed by the Master of the High Court, depending on the volume and complexity of the Liquidation.
12) It was also stated by all that should the MTI Members, Founding Members and other major gainers in the scheme come forward and voluntary pay back their ill gotten gains, then the process will go much quicker and easier and the law may also be a little more lenient towards those who cooperate with both the law and the liquidators.
13) If the Liquidator who you nominated does not get appointed as one of the appointed Liquidators, your nomination form should be handed to the Liquidator/s who was appointed so that your form will not mean nothing, but still be in the system and you will be contacted by whomever takes over as the appointed Liquidator/s.
14) It was also stated that Johann Steynberg will be searched for and apprehended if he fails to come forward. If he does not come forward and cooperate fully, he will most probably be sequestrated in his absence. That probably goes for other Founding Members and top officials of MTI also (but don't quite me on it).
15) Costs were discussed/disclosed by the Liquidators present and quoted as a percentage on recovery of assets/FIAT: 3% on Fixed/immovable property (say houses that need to be sold and turned into currency), 10% on Movable Assets (like vehicles, office furniture, clothes, house contents, jewellery, etc.) and 1% on Cash or Monetary transfers (not sure if Crypto assets gets treated the same here);
16) It was also stated that should MTI Management produce evidence of, or the full BTC amount owed to investors, then the Liquidation will be retracted (I honestly doubt if this is even a remote possibility at this stage, but miracles has happened before);
17) I may have missed a few minor stuff which was discussed, but please watch the video for yourself as well if you have the facilities available. There will also be a follow up video on Wednesday the 30th so lets keep out eyes open for that.
Please also note that some of the Liquidator Nomination forms are pinned under the pinned messages in this Group. There may be more on the RAG webpage too. However the two that we have pinned, are also the two Liquidators mentioned in the Video, namely InvesTrust and Sebenza Trust. The two forms are also listed below this message for your convenience.

I have submitted feedback on the contact section and just want to make sure you get my message. I am concerned that we are underestimating the job here and that we have volunteering Legal representatives that overstate their experiences and capabilities to handle a complicated scheme like this. I propose that we do the checklist. There is not much time and people are going to vote for the wrong intermediaries
Benita Bosman · 04/01/2021 at 3:16 pm
Hi Gert
Please won’t you assist with the checklist?
We are less than 10 people who volunteered to help with the answering of emails, assisting investors with the questions they have and compiling factual information to put on this website.

Sorry for asking this question…
but if the advocates working on this case (Hendrik van Staden and team) are as good as they say they are, WHY was Cheri and Clynton Marks not arrested LONG AGO as a result of BTC Global AND being investigated by the Hawks?
Why is Willie Breedt not in jail?
Did any of THOSE ponzi scheme investors ever get a cent back? If not, why would I trust that Hendrik and his team will get it right with MTI?

I am somewhat confused by the statement made on the video that we should claim the US$/ZAR due to us, BUT as you know the BTC value changes and so does the currency rate of USD vs ZAR on a daily basis! so what now? .. conundrum ; we want our BTC at it’s highest value .. (which we are losing out on currently as it is standing at almost $28000 as I write this) but of course the BTC value could also drop to below what it even cost us when first put our BTC into the MTI ‘pot’ . .. It was mentioned too that here would be a conversion table/calculator for us to use.. where do we find that and do we convert at today’s rate BTC to USD to ZAR.. Please explain

shirley · 30/12/2020 at 11:59 am
Dear Sharon
Firstly may I say many thanks for all your effort and your concise summary of the zoom call recently recorded.
One of the questions you raised wasβ¦.how do we calculate the BTC amount to be claimed.
For example: I deposited BTC in my husbandβs account in April 2020 and withdrew it a while back, so the only BTC remaining is the trading and bonus amounts which is less than the original deposits.
I recently deposited money into my two Inc businesses and moved the capital amount P2P to my MTI account for withdrawal ( which obviously did not happen) How does one clarify to claim in these situations?
Surely the amount claimed should be based on the final balance in each account for simplicityβ¦.it is just too complicated to work on initial deposits aloneβ¦. I am sure that for many people this is a problem.
The other thing is currencyβ¦..the dollar value will be different to the Rand value. Do we calculate the dollar/rand value of BTC at a specific pre-determined dateβ¦..Perhaps these questions could be clarified.
One final question of the two liquidators in the seminar β which liquidator is associated with the different companies you mentioned please?
Best regards
Shirley Holmes
Benita Bosman · 03/01/2021 at 3:45 pm

I’m concerned as neither liquifator seem to specialise in crypto. It would seem better to keep all the claims in Bitcoin as it is a universal currency and bearing as 70% of the clients are not in Africa. I therefore propose to find a company who can work in with the bitcoin.
Johan Bester · 30/12/2020 at 11:59 pm
For the sake of calculations, it should be stated that investment values be given ONLY in Bitcoin! Investers must then also indicate their Country including local fiat currency. Do not bother requesting estimated fiat currency values it doesn’t work. Bitcoin values will be different depending on when it was captured!!
My suggestion is to work only on Bitcoin amounts. When a fiat value is required, a real time conversion can be done on Excel.
The Master liquidators will receive all Invester information from the other liquidators. Once all Investors BTC’s are captured in Excel, only then can local fiat currency’s be derived from the current Bitcoin price.
Thus, do not confuse investors and liquidators by requesting the “Then” current Bitcoin value!!!! Rather omit the “Then current ” Bitcoin value on the forms.
Thank you.

Good day
I would like to express my appreciation for this platform and its creators for keeping us informed and consolidating efforts to achieve the best results in the recovery process. There are a lot of us out here that do not have the faintest idea of what to do in this situation and would be totally lost without your guidance.
In terms of the investment amounts that will have to be submitted at some stage, Would you please give clarity on it is determined. I believe is it crucial that everybody use the correct calculations in order to avoid unnecessary time consuming processing. There were two contradictory calculations communicated:
βthe total initial investment in ZAR when you transferred it to MTIβ β PfoJC (31/12/2020)
and
TO CALCULATE THE AMOUNT:
βTrading pool balance PLUS Income wallet balance PLUS Pending withdrawal balance Convert Bitcoin amount to rand. https://www.xe.com/ NB: USE THE VALUE OF YOUR BITCOIN AS TODAY. Put the Rand/ZAR amount on form. (PS. You can put both BTC and ZAR on). Write the amount in words.β β Aldo on LIQUIDATION β SIMPLE β HOW TO MANUAL (31-12-2020).

Hi Neels,
Thank you for showing us gratitude, on behalf of the team – we accept it gracefully.
Regarding the “amount” – before we start the claims process, there will be a definitive plan of action and “HOW TO” on our website.
However right now: βTrading pool balance PLUS Income wallet balance PLUS Pending withdrawal balance Convert Bitcoin amount to rand. https://www.xe.com/ NB: USE THE VALUE OF YOUR BITCOIN AS TODAY. Put the Rand/ZAR amount on form. (PS. You can put both BTC and ZAR on)
Blessings,

Will are three liquidators going to be involved in the process or the court will only chose one of the three? How will the deleted accounts be treated? the deleted accounts were not addressed in the Q&A sessions. All accounts funded between December 4th and 6th were missing and funds disappeared.
Benita Bosman · 03/01/2021 at 12:38 pm
Hi Howard
Because of the amount of investors, the court will definitely appoint more than one liquidator. The liquidators will have access to all the information regarding investors and their accounts.
There will be more Q&A Zoom calls during the week. Submit your questions to the experts then. All the information regarding past and future Zoom calls, progress with the appointment of liquidators etc. will appear on this website.

You are able to change your nomination to any liquidator of your choice. All you have to do is add a signed cover letter with your nomination form and write as follows: I, xxxxx with ID number xxxx submitted a nomination form for xxxxxx liquidators previously. I would like withdraw my nomination for them and replace it with the nomination form attached for xxxxx liquidators. Add the date of signature and send normally to the email address for the particular liquidator.
