Restore Action Group -  Established by GetaQuid in December 2020 when the pending provisional liquidation for the MTI group was in discussion.

GetaQuid supported the investors and liaised with all the parties concerned to establish a consensus of opinion as to what the best action was.

Unfortunately, after the provisional liquidation had been granted, GetaQuid and essentially RAG no longer had a function. Further involvement would have required extensive funds which were not forthcoming from the investors at that time.

However, now that the liquidators and various "net positive MTI investors" (Promoters) are looking to disenfranchise the "negative equity investors" (NEI) it has become apparent that the latter need to take action to protect their investment.

The below was published in December of 2020 before the Provisional Liquidation of MTI

"This recovery action group (RAG) has been formed for the purpose of bringing together all the investors who wish to participate in recovering their funds from MTI "Mirror Trading International".

As things stand today, 23 December 2020, all indications are that unless immediate legal action is taken as quickly as humanly possible the funds that have been collected by MTI may vanish.

Currently, there are numerous publications and information that indicate that the management of MTI has willingly and fraudulently misled the public. We acknowledge that there are current investigations going on but this will not result in the recovery of the assets.

It is, therefore, this group's intention to form a management and investigative team to pool resources and get the best possible legal support to try to recover the assets on behalf of all the investors who have signed up to the MTI action group."

GetaQuid has also established Urext funding to sponsor and assist individual "Net Losers" to get their MTI (Mirror Trading International) claims processed with legal representation and support. The company Urext Ltd is now assisting the "Net Losers" who are not able to fund or get the legal backing to get the claims resolved.

      What do you mean by minimum cost. – I for one am not not in a position to risk any further expenditure. I am happy to pay someone a percentage of whatever is restored to me, but no new financial up-front contributions.

      Hi All. I find it odd that nobody is telling the truth. We have no proof that Bitcoins were ever purchased. All we know is that we gave money to MTI which produced a wonder website which showed us how much money we were making. Now that the paw paw has hit the fan nobody can tell us if there ever was any Bitcoin or if this was just another pyramid scheme where the bottom feed the top. I for one was a late investor and never had the opportunity to withdraw any money. I for one have no feelings nor relationship with Johan. I also do not care for his welfare as I am not his friend nor is he mine. I entrusted money to MTI. The fact that the set-up of MTI was of such nature that one person could walk away with all the money is beyond any reason. I think everybody must just be honest and tell everybody that the money (not the Bitcoin) is gone. If you can not give me 100% proof that there was ever any Bitcoin then I will believe you. But my honest opinion is that the money went into someone’s bank account whom at some point decided that the risk of the bottom falling out is getting to big and they took the money and ran. With the current storm around all the investigations the easy thing for Johan to do is to pay everybody their money and make life easier for himself. Think logically – if the money was invested in Bitcoin with the recent spike Johan could have paid all of us the money equal to when we all asked for it to be paid and still made a handsome profit for himself. But the money as far as I am concerned was not used to buy Bitcoin. I salute all you positive people out there that are still clinging to the hope of getting your money. The long and the short of the matter is that MTI and the way that they ran MTI put all of us in this predicament. No company should take investors money and let one person control it through a bank account that he can utilise as he sees fit. This is business ethics/protocol 101. I also salute those that are trying to get something out for all investors. I for one strongly doubt if we will see 1 cent of our investment. Johan will get what he deserves.

I’m an investor in MTI because Johann Steynberg registers our bitcoin funds, which has the correct, trusted in it, in the company, his wife Nerina should declare to her husband Johann Steynberg that the company is working, that he registers the MTI company , if you do not want to follow that devolve the bitcoin to all, ya that is money that invests and that he has not recovered at the time of the investment.           A liquidator will be appointed by the High Court soon and then they will then let us know how to claim back our investment.

        Liquidation is not an option. Criminal case and freeze of all assets of the whole management team is the best way to go.
        Liquidaters will take the biggest share for themselves. We will be lucky if we 20 Sent of every rand.
        The management and CEO will laugh all the way to the bank.
        The persons who started this liquidation does not know what it means or they share in the billions.
        Think again before liquidation… I have experience about this.

    I was declared disabled in 2017 by Sasol. My disability payout was depleted through several other investments that also went south. I got involved in this through a very persuasive friend who seemed to be a knowledgeable chap. I opened an account for myself, my eldest son William and Youngest Logan. He also convinced my Father, William and Mother, Margot to open accounts. I feel so guilty about the losses. If we can get some or all of it back I will not feel so broken. I have been ripped off so many times I just don’t want to take a chance on anything… Thank you guys so much. We couldn’t afford to invest but desparation got the better of me.

We invested our retirement savings and provisions into MTI and desperately need to recovered it. Which should have been a Christmas of hope and joy turned out to be a devastating time of sorrow and guilt.

Hopefully you will devise a plan that will result in the recovery of our bitcoin and not costing us monies that has already been stolen from us.

I´m in doubt: you say you´ll “try to recover the assets on behalf of all the investors who have signed up to the MTI action group”… Does that mean that we have to sign up somewhere? Does it mean that you´ll try to recover the assets of the ones that have signed up but not the rest of the money invested by the rest of people? Like so many people, I too – took all that I had and invested in MTI, hoping to draw monthly. I opened accounts for my family and introduced people to MTI. I pray to God that Johann and management, realize the impact of their actions and return people’s money, by honoring withdrawals. Can the leaders of RAG please identify yourselves with a clear photo, contact details and a short CV.
This whole mess and communication bits & pieces on Telegram, social media and internet is posted by mostly unidentified ‘leaders’.
I’m not going to support any ‘action group’ without a clearly identified and known leadership structure with legitimate contact details and know addresses.
MTi has hoodwinked us long enough to tolerate any further shenanigans.

Is this an effort to get the funds back that were last represented in the MTI pool?
Or to get back original investment minus any withdrawals?
I made withdrawals but it was with the understanding that my pool balance would remain available to withdraw at any time.

I have invested a lot to sponser family and friends and feel i let them down even though the money invested was from me. I am disappointed in my self after the previous warnings that i did not ask more questions and insisted on answers.
Instead i also defended the the company with out real knowledge of how it was structured above.
Maby i missed it but is yet to see or read an explanation from Johan Steynberg himself.
I am all for recovering every send i invested and urnet for that matter as per the MTI back office.
If i want to keep investing in BTC that obviously is not where the downfall was, where can i invest direct where i will have a secure investment only subject to trading. No passive income programme or scheme?

If we go for MTI to liquidate, is it not possible to liquidate the assets of the management team as well? From what I am able to glean and from the last few whatsapp messages I received from management, it seems quite obvious that they were aware of what was transpiring .

I truly feel that we all need to be given back our bitcoin investments in MTI .
I invested all my finances because I trusted MTI . In 2012 I had a severe head injury resulting in me being in a coma for 12 days and undergoing lots of neurosurgery to relieve the pressure on my brain due to bleeding . I now am epileptic and not able to get employment and for that reason invested basically all my finances in MTI that seemed trustworthy . All the medical records are available . I just ask for my investment back in order to survive and be able to cover my monthly expenses . Regards , Ian.
